* Vitamin C rich foods include mainly citrus fruits like oranges and melons - mausambi is in season now. Apart from these, strawberries, tomatoes and lemons are also rich in Vitamin C.

- Diarrhoea and Vomiting (in exceptional cases).
Steps
- Get yourself medically examined in case of these symptoms.
- Avoid crowded public places like theatres and malls; stay at home.
- Wash hands regularly with soap and clean water.
- Take nutritious diet with Vitamin C* for immunity.
- As the spread of swine flu is by air, use handkerchief while coughing or sneezing.
Things to Avoid
- Public spitting.
- Close contact with those who show these symptoms.
- Crowded public places.
- Taking medicines without doctor's advice.
Things to Remember
- N95 masks are meant for doctors, nurses, infected patients and persons in close contact.
- For daily protection a hanky is advisable.
- Proper disposal of masks is necessary.
- Masks used by one person shouldn't be used by others.
